"Rebuilding the nest" - Update on Kuichi Brewery (Hitachino Nest beer)
HERE'S an article from DRAFT magazine about the rebuilding efforts underway at Kiuchi Brewery in Ibaraki. Kiuchi, which produces Hitachino Nest, probably the Japanese micro brew best-known in the USA, suffered considerable damage in the huge earthquake last March (see photos HERE). The article also updates the situation at the Miyagi Microbrewery, which was completely destroyed, as well as at Iwate Kura Beer and the Kirin and Sapporo breweries in the earthquake region.
