Beering in Mind YouTube Channel Beer Review #146 -- Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Pale Ale



Kanazawa Hyakumangoku Pale Ale, another souvenir-type beer, has an interesting name, which references a form of wealth in pre-modern Japan. One million koku = five million bushels of rice -- but the beer has only a miserly amount of aroma and flavor.

Beering in Mind YouTube Channel Beer Review #113 -- Kizakura Camphor Pale Ale



Kizakura Camphor Pale Ale does not have camphor in it. It does, however, have a picture of a camphor flower on the can. Why? Well, apparently it uses 10% barley from Saga prefecture, and camphor is the official flower of that prefecture.... Uh-huh.....
