Beering in Mind YouTube Channel Beer Review #123 -- Nagahama Ale
Nagahama Ale, a somewhat rough and rustic American Pale Ale, from
Nagahama Roman Beer on the shores of Lake Biwa.
Nevin, this is Steve, from Chicago, U.S.A. I write to challenge you to make a blog post which won't be a YouTube® review, with the topic being Kirin's purchase of the U.S.A.'s New Belgium Brwy. New Belgium is a genuine monument of craft beer, having been founded in 1992, being a "B Corporation", and employee-owned. The news has shook the craft beer community here in the U.S.A. Is this Kirin's (versus Asahi's) first incursion into U.S.A. craft breweries? Will this mean New Belgium brews will begin appearing in more venues in Japan? I (and We) would enjoy critical appraisal of this incident from your side of the Pacific.
